Virginia CNA State Exam is the gateway to an enriching career as a certified nurse aide with various health care service providers. A person should pass the competency test to earn the CNA certification which is important so as to be able to work with any health care provider across the USA.
Someone's aspiring to make a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant must be at least 18 years old and have high school diploma or a GED degree to his credit. You may also refer to the handouts and notebooks besides the practical test which will help you prepare well for the real exam. You have to clear both the parts to be declared as having passed the CNA State Exam. This gets you listed and registered on the Virginia Nurse Aide Registry and then you can work with ant health care body not only in Virginia but any state in the USA without inviting legal problems in case you don't originally belong to that particular state. However, if you fail the exam you can attempt it for a maximum of 3 times and if you still don't make it you will have to retake the entire training program to sit for the final competency test again.
